Wilfrid Laurier University, after a three days of online voting, was named CBC Radio 3’s “Top Music Campus” in Canada. Other finalists in the top ten included University of Guelph in third place and Queen’s University in sixth. Laurier has been the roots to emerging artists Shad, Evan Abeele from Memoryhouse and Will Currie and the Country French, as well as hosting numerous bands and musicians such as Metric, The Weeknd, Mac Miller, Alexisonfire and, most recently, Passion Pit.
