Disturbance; Location: Fred Nichols Centre/Concourse; Reported: Feb. 28 @ 9:10 p.m.

A large group of people who had taken part in a spontaneous celebration parade on University Avenue and King Street after Team Canada won an Olympic gold medal made their way into the Fred Nichols Centre and the Concourse area chanting and singing. After a short time, the group dispersed.

A real hawk was recently spotted around the Laurier campus. Unfortunately, its presence was of little luck to Laurier’s athletic teams this past weekend. Men’s football and women’s soccer lost important playoff games ending both of teams’ seasons.
