Dear Victoria, I walked on the Golden Hawk, WTF do I do now?
Dear “You Should Have Been Looking Where You Were Going”,
To be honest I really don’t know what to tell you. There is just no excuse for walking across the Hawk of Gold in your dirty and most likely odorous and goose poop stained shoes. I mean the first thing you learn when you go on your grade 12 campus tour is “DON’T WALK ON THE HAWK”. It’s just common knowledge, plain and simple.
And didn’t you get heckled and chirped enough for stepping too close to the hawk by all the smug seniors lined along the benches during your first ever week of school?
I mean you are warned and reminded repeatedly up front at the beginning for a reason... so you will learn and remember to just stay of the friggin’ hawk! I mean that is just Laurier’s special tradition. Queen’s students have the jackets, Western students all give each other herpes, and we don’t walk on our hawk! So if you want my advice, I’d say it’s about time you find some Golden Hawk spirit and show the floor just a little bit more respect thank
