To welcome students to the city and provide information about the community, the annual door-knocker program will have an array of city officials visiting student homes around the university from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sept. 15 and 16.

The initiative is part of the It's Your Waterloo campaign that was launched last year to incorporate several old and new initiatives in an attempt to integrate students into the city. Students can expect to visited by representatives from bylaw enforcement, police officers, firefighters, campus security and student leaders.

Students moving back to the city are encouraged to visit the City of Waterloo's web page for students for important information regarding their community.
