Dear Life is your opportunity to write a letter to your life, allowing you to vent your anger with life’s little frustrations in a completely public forum.

All submissions to Dear Life are anonymous, should be no longer than 100 words and must be addressed to your life. Submissions can be sent to dearlife@thecord.ca no later than Monday at noon each week.

Dear Life,

Why is it that people always eat noisy foods during class? I understand that apples are a healthy choice, but the constant crunching is not only distracting, it’s disgusting! If you are going to eat during class please pick something that is quiet to eat and be considerate of your classmates.

Sincerely, Actually Trying to Pay Attention

Dear Life,

Was I the only one embarrassed while watching Follies? It’s too bad no one told the people on stage that they were supposed to be ACTING. What a waste of talent.

Sincerely, At Least There Were Some Good Singers

Dear Life,

I am freakin’ sick and tired of hearing business profs telling us, “We are preparing you to be managers of tomorrow.” STFU and stop brainwashing us that everyone needs to find a job after graduation and make the shareholders of the company that you work for even richer. Let people decide on their own path.

Sincerely, Disillusioned Biz Kid

Dear Life,

No one cares about LCD screens.

Sincerely, Use My Money Properly

Comments

Dear Life,

Why do I care if Lawrence Maclin was a "dodgeball participant" five years ago? If candidates are going to stretch their credentials that much, why not add "WLUSU election participant" as well?

Sincerely, Bitter Nitpicker
